Brandon Hudson, E-RYT, RCYT, MAT, is a yoga teacher, children’s yoga teacher, a children's yoga teacher trainer, and is trained in children's yoga therapy. She works with both children and adults. Brandon holds a Master's degree in Special Education, is a highly qualified educator, and has over 15 years' experience working with children of all ages and abilities. Brandon has been studying and practicing yoga since 2000, while earning her B.S. in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Asheville. In 2008, Brandon graduated from Western Carolina University with a Master's in the Art of Teaching and proceeded to teach Special Education in the Buncombe County Schools. In 2014, Brandon completed her Yoga Teacher Training at Black Mountain Yoga, and then went on to complete her Children's Yoga Teacher Training at ChildLight Yoga graduating in 2016. Brandon is trained in Creative Relaxation, yoga therapy for children with Autism and Special Needs. Currently, Brandon works with schools teaching children yoga, and training teachers in yoga and mindfulness practices.
Brandon has been able to connect with kids even at a young age. Her lifelong career, and passion in life, is teaching children of all ages and abilities. Brandon provides clear and consistent boundaries for children to learn and grow. She honors their space and allows the freedom to express themselves. Brandon’s playful, gentle style allows both kids and adults to find a personal connection to their yoga practice.

Brandon lives in Black Mountain and loves to be out in nature with her family. She enjoys hiking and trail running with her husband and two Australian cattle dogs, Hank and Belle. Listening to music, volunteering, reading, traveling, and camping, are some of her other favorite activities.
